Women Conquer the Beach

Rockstar Ladies on Women's Dive Day

No matter rain, nor wind nor red tide, we showed up for Women's Dive Day! Despite the weather, we had a great turn out of some hard core ladies that were determined to celebrate women divers! The wind was raging and the red tide made breathing a bit challenging but, we were able to pull off a nice beach cleanup, something every beach needs.

Beach Debris cleaned up by our awesome ladies!

Despite not being able to dive, the ladies were in good spirits and happy to help contribute to the cause. We had some new ladies come out and new friendships were made which, I think, is the biggest success of all.

I even met two outstanding ladies who met in their Open Water class and "haven't left each others side since". This is why we do this! It's all about women supporting women and coming together as a dive community and having some fun! I'm so proud to be able to be part of this day and I can't wait until next year!

I am a mom, wife and scuba diver in Sarasota, Fl and I love to share my experience with others. I'm hoping to inspire other women and moms to take the plunge into this amazing underwater world.
